Shift Leader Position Summary: Our Shift Leaders are responsible for enthusiastically leading and motivating the restaurant team to achieve the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction. They ensure that each visit by a guest results in friendly and personalized service with great food that is promptly delivered in a clean and inviting environment. The Shift Leaders also manage all aspects of the daily operations of a restaurant to maximize sales, profits and a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Creates an in-store service environment that exceeds guest expectations regarding friendly, quick and accurate service.
Builds team understanding and commitment to guest service standards.
Provides guests a “brand right” environment in which to place their orders, receive their food and dine comfortably inside the restaurant.
Communicates and follows-up with guests to obtain feedback and identify service and food quality improvement opportunities.
Provides guest satisfaction by assisting and resolving all complaints in person or by phone.
Ensures that all incoming calls are handled in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner.
Instructs, trains, coaches and develops the restaurant team to create an environment where enthusiastic people are recognized and rewarded for achieving organizational and personal goals.
Assists in the recruiting and hiring of hourly employees. Ensures the appropriate staffing of restaurant team to maximize customer service and sales efforts.
Works to maximize sales and profits within the restaurant.
Responsible for all cash controls and enforcement of Company policies.
Assists with local store marketing, sales and promotional efforts to increase sales volume and guest traffic.
Assists with ordering, accounting and maintenance of all food and paper inventories.
Assures that all safety and security procedures are followed within the restaurant.
Qualifications:
Must by 18 years old.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Understands and is committed to ensuring great customer service execution.
Ability to train, guide and lead a Team.
Ability to work with a high degree of independence and discretion.
Ability to work flexible hours.
Good problem-solving techniques.
Good writing, verbal, math and interpersonal skills.
Good organization and time management skills.
Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
